Cap the Carboy

Place the blowoff tube stopper into the carboy and put the tube in the blowoff pail. Don't jam the stopper into the carboy, just push it down a bit so it is secure. If you are not careful you can push the stopper right into the carboy.

Put sanitizing solution or water in the pail to cover the hose outlet.
